The work area today
This is how my work area ended up today. Bit chaotic! Lots going on...
The painting in the front is 'Vital Spark' which I finished a few days back but was undecided on the finishing touches. I had mocked them up on the canvas in pastels, but today decided to commit and add them in paint. Just needs a bit of varnish now to bring together all the colours and really make them sing :-).
The painting in the background is the new version of 'Sunrise on Machrie Moor', the painting I was working on in my shot yesterday for the group. This morning I absolutely hated what I had done and decided to totally paint over and rework the background. I'm much happier now...
Sunrise WIP - me at work! :-)
I am working on a piece thats been commissioned as a wedding gift, so the pressure is on LOL! I'm working on a sunrise behind a stone circle - loosely inspired by this wonderful shot by Dimitri_V

It'll not look much like that that image though when finished. I'm using a other images of those stones and a heap load of artistic license, but wanted to show Dimitri's fabulous image as it got the ball rolling and inspired me :-)
My 3 year old got hold of my paint brush and managed to do her own bit of art on it earlier, I was lucky that my hubby spotted before it was too late and we were able to rub off the still wet paint - so no harm done (apart from a few more grey hairs for husband!).
